Dr. Zha presented the Coflow Jet transonic supercriticalairfoil

In AIAA Aviation 2016 held in Washington DC, Dr. Zha presented the Coflow Jet transonic supercritical airfoil performance enhancement with both lift coefficient and aerodynamic efficiency improved simultaneously. This appears to be the first significant performance improvement of transonic supercritical airfoil since the concept was invented by Whitcomb at NASA in 1960’s. The presentation can be seen here.
